I’m Katie Donnelly, a 24-year-old pageant girl from Lincoln, United Kingdom, and I have lived with a disability since I was 18 months old. I began my pageant journey as a way to gain confidence in myself and do something out of my comfort zone, but it has evolved into so much more than that. About the Campaign
‘Beauty and the Unbroken’ started in 2023 while I was preparing for a competition. I wanted my pageant platform to be more than something to talk about when competing. I wanted it to reach and inspire those outside of the pageant community, too. I wanted those with differences to see the beauty in them and realise that they are not broken, but unique.
